ABOUT US
For nearly forty years, New Hope Presbyterian Church stood on the corner of Shallowford and Napier Roads. In June 2021, we moved to our new location at 7608 Shallowford Road, but we’re not about the building, or even the location.
At New Hope Presbyterian Church, we believe that Jesus Christ is at work in every corner of Chattanooga, in every single person, and so our mission is to go out into the world and proclaim the Good News of God’s Kingdom.
We come to New Hope for fellowship, for worship, but then we go out as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. We are equipped and sent out into the world to fulï¬ll our vocations, from teachers to nurses to engineers to parents to children, and in so doing we believe that we preach Christ at all times.
It is our fervent prayer that each person that visits will be accepted as being made in the image of God, and that they will join with us in worship, study and fellowship, and that they will go forth, equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to let God’s light shine in and through them, for all the world to see.
