Welcome

New Hope Presbyterian

on the web!

We're glad you found us. For over forty years we have gathered to worship and gone out to serve here in East Brainerd, just across the street from Hamilton Place Mall. Come and join us for worship on Sunday morning, for a Wednesday night Bible study, or just come to walk our labyrinth and experience the peace of God in the heart of suburban Chattanooga. We are the hands and feet of Christ, and believe that we go out into the world to demonstrate the Kingdom of God to all we meet.

    Lenten Book Study

The Soul of Prince Caspian Exploring Spiritual Truth in the Land of Narnia by Gene Veith is a 6 week Lenten study based on Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis.  In The  Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Aslan achieved victory over the White Witch.  In Prince Caspian, Aslan achieves victory over New Narnia, where the people no longer believe in lions, much less Aslan. The story is a delightful way to help us  understand how we face many of the same cultural struggles today.  As  C. S.  Lewis said, “Sometimes fairy stories may say best what’s to be said.”
    Saturday, March 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6 & 13, 2019
    10-11:30am in the McMillan Building

  • A New Beginning

New Hope is entering a new phase of it’s life.  The Session has been discerning our new direction.  As part of that, we have adopted a new mission and vision that will guide us as we continue to serve God in Chattanooga and throughout the world.  Take a look below.  It’s short and sweet and easy to memorize.

    Our Mission
To Live by Faith, to be Known by Love, and to be the Voice of Hope!

    Our Vision
"The only thing that counts is Faith expressing itself through Love."  Galatians 5:6
