New Hope Presbyterian

on the web!

We're glad you found us. For over forty years we have gathered to worship and gone out to serve here in East Brainerd, just across the street from Hamilton Place Mall. Now we are in the process of moving. Our new church is under construction just east on Shallowford Rd. Come watch God’s house progress and join us for Sunday morning worship now on Facebook and in our new location later in the spring. Meet with us for Wednesday night Bible study on Facebook, We are the hands and feet of Christ, and believe that we go out into the world to demonstrate the Kingdom of God to all we meet.

  • We're Moving

Save these dates:  May 25 packing the sanctuary building; May 26 moving to our new Worship Center!  (The McMillan Building is already packed.)
Helpers needed for both days.  You will not need to pack or lift heavy boxes.  You will supervise people from Fox Moving and Storage, and probably use a marker to clearly label boxes.  We have lists prepared for what is to be packed, and lists for where boxes and furniture are to be placed in the new  building.
Unpacking and setting up rooms will take place later.
Come and join the fun.  Please let me know if you are available.  I’ll give you a clip board!

  • A New Beginning

New Hope is entering a new phase of it’s life.  The Session has been discerning our new direction.  As part of that, we have adopted a new mission and vision that will guide us as we continue to serve God in Chattanooga and throughout the world.  Take a look below.  It’s short and sweet and easy to memorize.

    Our Mission
To Live by Faith, to be Known by Love, and to be the Voice of Hope!

    Our Vision
"The only thing that counts is Faith expressing itself through Love."  Galatians 5:6

  • Prayer Group

    Prayer Group

Every Monday at 10am our prayer group is praying for YOU.  Whether the need is  spoken or not, rest assured that we lift your concerns in prayer.  Please feel free to indicate specific needs on the tear off portion of the bulletin.  We also rely on the Holy Spirit to intercede for us to give a voice to some of our most sensitive needs.  We would love for you to join us!  It is a blessed time for all of us.
