  • The Drury Hotel Group gave a presentation outlining ideas for the future of New Hope Church and how they help might support our mission.
  • The Session adopted a deficit church budget for 2018.
  • The Session approved the Presbytery Statistical Survey for 2017 for submission to the Presbytery.
    • This survey reflects the current status of our congregation and is required by the Presbytery each year.
  • Corporation officers were elected for 2018.
    • Officers are Ron Young – President, Rosie Sanislo - Vice President, Peter Savard -  Secretary, Troy Ivey - Treasurer.
  • Peter Savard was elected commissioner to the Presbytery meeting on February 10th.
    • Marilyn Suber will be the alternate.
  • Rev. Worth would like volunteers for home communion teams.
    • If you are an elder and would like to volunteer, please contact Rev. Worth.
  • The topic of the caregivers and grandparents was discussed.
    • The Session would like to get these going again.
    • If you are interested in participating please contact Lizz Savard.
  • Rev. Worth reported that while the Christmas Village event did not draw as much interest as hoped, the vendors were pleased and the event was an overall success.
    • The church realized a small profit.
    • We would like to repeat the event next year.
  • It was reported that the heating system has been repaired and the trees along the hotel boundary have been removed.
  • There will be a pancake supper on Ash Wednesday at 6:00P PM followed by a worship service at 7:00 PM.
  • Wednesday night bible study will begin a Lenten discussion.
  • Greer’s girl scout group has asked to attend worship on March 11th and take part in the service.
  • The annual Session retreat will be March 3rd.
