    • Contributions continue to fall behind last year’s pace.

    • The Session continues to look at planning for the sale of the church and the investment of the proceeds.
  • Ron Young gave a detailed update on the state of our request to keep the left turn signal from Shallowford Road active.
    • There has been a lot of correspondence between New Hope, Drury, the Regional Planning Commission, CDOT and Councilmen Leadford.
    • Drury has commissioned a traffic study that will be submitted to CDOT who will then make a recommendation to the Planning Commission.
    • The meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for September 10th.
      • At this point it looks like the meeting will take place on that date as scheduled.
      • It is important that as many people as possible representing New Hope be in attendance . Please put it on your calendar and plan to attend.
    • All of this has caused the closing on the church property and the purchase of the new church property to be delayed to November.
      • It was necessary to provide additional Option money to the sellers of the new property because of this delay.
      • Drury helped to provide the funds for this.
