Membership at New Hope Presbyterian Church

Membership in a Presbyterian congregation is by the approval of the Session (governing body of the congregation) followed by a public reception during the Sunday Morning Worship Service.

There are three ways to join New Hope Presbyterian Church:

Transfer of Membership: If you are currently a member in good standing of a Christian church, a member of our church staff will write for a "letter of membership" so that responsibility for your pastoral care can be transferred from your current congregation to New Hope.

Reaffirmation of Faith: If you have been a member of a Christian church but are not currently active, or if a "letter of membership" is not available, you can join New Hope by reaffirming and making a public profession of your faith in Jesus Christ.

Profession of Faith: If you have never made a public profession of faith, you can join New Hope by affirming and making a public profession of your faith in Jesus Christ.
