The January meeting of the Session was held on January 10th. The following are the highlights from that meeting.
 The Treasurer presented the proposed budget for 2016.
- Giving for 2015 was down $ 4676 from the previous year.
- The proposed budget for 2016 is a balanced budget.
- The budget for 2016 was adopted by unanimous vote.
 Lizz Savard reported that the Elder Nominating Committee will be seeking nominations from the congregation in the next few weeks.
- It is important that anyone who would like to participate as a Session member see one of the committee members.
- Members of the Elder Nominating Committee include; Lizz Savard, Rosie Sanislo, Norma Capone, Hank Saeger and Roger Meyer.
 Sheri Patrick was approved as the nursery attendant.
 There was a discussion of the need for a Junior Church program.
- The current nursery program is not appropriate for the older, school age children.
- Junior Church program may be needed.
- Whatever program we develop needs to be a spiritual experience for all children in grades 1 - 4.
- The Session decided to table the issue until the February meeting in order to gather more information and discuss the issue with Rev. Worth.
 The Buildings and Grounds committee reported that the kitchen remodel has begun. The contractor hopes to be done by the end of February
 The Fellowship Committee reported that it is waiting until Rev. Worth comes to discuss Wednesday night suppers.
- There are plans for a Potluck Supper in February. There will not be an announcement until we know when the remodel will be done.
 The Outreach Committee did not meet during the holiday season, but reported on current activities.
- Melinda Lowe is collecting money for the Community Kitchen
- Beth Hibbard is doing Snack Packs.
The next Session Meeting will be February 21, 2016.
