Summary of the Session Meetings – December 16, 2018

•  Troy Ivey presented the 2019 budget for approval.
  • An adjustment was needed in the landscape budget so approval was delayed until January.
•  A concern was raised about safety of employees working in the office during the week.
  • Ron and Peter will work with the employees to develop some strategies to improve the security  issue.
• The Christmas Village was a success this year.
  • Some receipts are still out, but we definitely raised some money for church missions.
  • Thank you to all who came or donated time or items and especially to Leslie for all the time she put in organizing the event.
• Rev. Worth distributed the first drafts of church policy updates.
  • The Session made suggestions and will review the updated policies in January.
• The Property Committee updated the Session.
  • The update was essentially the same one Lizz presented to the congregation during the worship  service.
