Summary of the Session Meeting – April 9, 2017

- Troy Ivey reported that offerings are down from this time last year.

- The Session revisited the process for granting approval for the use of church facilities.

- It was decided to continue with the procedure that is currently in place.

- If you need to reserve church facilities for an event, please contact Peter Savard.

- Rev Worth is in contact with a company to produce a new photo directory.

u More information will be forthcoming.

- The Earthcare committee reported that New Hope has been recertified as an Earth friendly congregation.

- The Fellowship committee indicated that the next potluck supper will be April 30.

- There will be no potluck supper in May.

- Several activities are being planned for this summer.

- More information to follow.

- On June 3rd the Presbyterian Women will be honoring the senior ladies in our congregation.

- The Worship committee talked about the Seder dinner on Good Friday.

- We are still working on finding an organist/choir director.

- Buildings and Grounds is working on getting an estimate on rehabilitating the labyrinth.

- Three trees on church grounds are dead and will need to be removed.

- The Education committee indicated that plans for Vacation Bible School are in place.

- Input on advertising would be appreciated.

- The Evangelism and Outreach committee has been distributing church brochures.
